Neo Motors, Morocco’s first entirely domestic car manufacturer, celebrated a significant milestone on Friday with the inauguration of its first showroom in Rabat.
This memorable occasion, following the unveiling of the “Neo” model to King Mohammed VI in May 2023, was marked by the symbolic handover of keys to ten enthusiastic customers, who became the proud owners of the first Neo Motors vehicles, entirely designed and built in Morocco.
The showroom in Rabat is central to the brand’s debut model, meticulously designed to meet the specific needs of the Moroccan market.
This car seamlessly combines performance, safety features, and environmental friendliness, paving the way for a future lineup that includes electric vehicles and reaffirms Neo Motors’ commitment to innovation and sustainable mobility solutions.
In an interview with the Moroccan press agency (MAP), Nassim Belkhayat, founder and CEO of Neo Motors, stated that “the opening of this first Neo Motors showroom represents the realization of a dream.”
Belkhayat also expressed his joy at presenting Neo Motors vehicles to customers, who can now experience the thrill of a test drive, get behind the wheel of their own Neo Motors car, and place orders directly in the showroom.
Highlighting the company’s ambitious expansion plans for the entire country, he revealed the upcoming launch of about 15 additional showrooms throughout the Kingdom.
“This location was envisioned four years ago, even before the construction of the factory and the design phase of the prototype began. Our unwavering goal was to fly the Moroccan flag high with the country’s very first car brand,” he noted.
These locations will be established through strategic partnerships with Marjane Holding, a prominent Moroccan retail group, and Speedy Maroc, the company responsible for the after-sales services for Neo Motors vehicles.
