Seven people were arrested Thursday night in Casablanca for their alleged involvement in violent football riots that led to the death of a spectator.
Sources from Hespress revealed that football supporters had gathered in Sidi Bernoussi and Sidi Moumen to celebrate a championship victory and commemorate a special event. However, the celebration escalated into clashes with supporters of a rival club.
The violence resulted in several injuries, including a police officer, and the death of a participant due to a severe physical assault.
