The Office National des Chemins de Fer (ONCF) will implement a “Special Eid Al-Adha” plan from Wednesday, June 12 to Sunday, June 23, 2024, with the scheduling of additional trains to reach approximately 240 trains per day serving the entire railway network.

As part of this plan, Al Boraq will run hourly throughout the day, connecting the city of Tangier with Kenitra, Rabat, and Casablanca from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM (during peak days), aiming to increase the seating capacity offered at the most demanded times, according to the ONCF in a statement.

Al Atlas, on the other hand, will see an increase in seating capacity and the scheduling of extra trains on the main axes of the railway network, namely Marrakech-Casa-Fès, Oujda, Nador, Khouribga, and Safi.

This plan also provides for the reinforcement of the teams responsible for receiving and assisting passengers in the stations and on board the trains, as well as the technical teams who will be mobilized 24/7 to monitor the smooth flow of train traffic.

Additionally, the ONCF advises its customers to purchase their tickets in advance during this busy period and to buy a return ticket to avoid queues at the station and ensure a seat on board the trains.

Ticket purchases are possible through the various ONCF sales channels, namely in stations, at ticket counters or ticket vending machines (DAT), online on the website “www.oncf-voyages.ma“, and at partner sales agencies nearby (Chaabi Cash, Tasshilat, and Cash Plus).
