Moroccan footballer Achraf Hakimi has emerged as the most valuable player in the Arab world with a market value of €65 million, according to the website Transfermarkt.

This ranking sees him surpass Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah, whose market value has dropped to €55 million, placing him in second position.

In third place is Moroccan defender Nayef Aguerd, currently playing for West Ham United, with a market value of €35 million. Not far behind, in sixth place, is another Moroccan talent, Brahim Diaz of Real Madrid, who also has a market value of €35 million.

Hakimi and Aguerd were pivotal in Morocco’s historic performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, where they played key roles in helping their national team reach the semi-finals for the first time.
