Morocco defeated Congo-Brazzaville 6-0 in Agadir today, earning 3 points in the ongoing World Cup African qualification matches.

The goals of the match were scored by Azeddine Ounahi (8′), Chadi Ryad (16′), Ayoub El Kaabi (20′, 39′, 53′), and Soufiane Rahimi (62′).

This victory propels Morocco to the top of Group E, as the Lions now lead Group E with 9 points. The other 6 points were secured in an away match against Tanzania (0-2) last November and at home against Zambia (2-1) last Friday.

Earlier in the evening, in the same group, Tanzania defeated Zambia (1-0), bringing their total to 6 points and taking second place behind Morocco.
